Hi John, I wanted to thank you again for the time you spent with me on the phone tonight, and to let you know that the mystery of my smoke detector has been solved. It wasn't the smoke detector that was chirping, and it wasn't any of the AC equipment in the attic. When I had the water damage a few weeks ago I unplugged the carbon monoxide detector to get it out of the way and put it up on a shelf near that smoke detector. It was chirping because it needed a new battery and because of where it was it sounded like the chirp was coming from the smoke detector. I'm so sorry that I took up your time needlessly, but you made a friend for life. A friend of mine was here a little while ago and I told him how kind you were to me on the phone and told him to be sure to call you if he needs any electrical work. I know I certainly will. Thanks again.
